We operate the website miyagilabs.ai (the "Site") and provide related products and services that reference or link to this Privacy Policy (collectively, the "Services").
1. COLLECTION OF INFORMATION
We collect information in several ways, depending on how you use the Services and your account settings:

- Understand, maintain, and improve the Services and develop new offerings
We may also use de-identified, anonymized, or aggregated data for research, analytics, product development, marketing, and to help demonstrate the effectiveness of our Services.
3. DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION
We may share your personal information in the following situations:
- Business Transfers: In connection with, or during negotiations for, any merger, sale of assets, financing, or acquisition involving Miyagi.

4. DATA RETENTION
We retain your personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes in this Privacy Policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When no longer needed, we may delete, anonymize, or otherwise appropriately dispose of the data. Backup and business continuity copies may persist for additional time.
5. SECURITY OF YOUR INFORMATION
We use a combination of administrative, physical, and technical safeguards to help protect the confidentiality, integrity, and security of your personal information. This includes encrypting data at rest and in transit and maintaining reasonable security measures designed to prevent unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.
You can help protect your information by using a strong password, choosing a username that does not reveal your identity, and being thoughtful about what you share online.
However, no system is completely secure, and transmitting or storing information online always carries some risk. We do not and cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS AND CHOICES
We take privacy seriously and strive to give you meaningful control over your personal information. You have choices in how your data is used, shared, and maintained, and we want you to be able to keep it accurate and up to date.
If you create an account, you can:
- Limit the optional information you provide
- Choose whether to connect with third-party services
- Decide whether to add a coach to your account
- Manage your email preferences
- Update, correct, or delete your account information through your settings
You may also use the Services without registering if you prefer.
7. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY NOTICE
Protecting the privacy of children is especially important to us. We offer features designed to safeguard the personal information of children under 13 ("Child Users") and collect such information only as permitted by applicable law.
When a Child User creates an account, we request only the information necessary to provide the Services—typically a username, birthdate, password, and a parent or guardian's email. We then contact the parent or guardian to obtain required consent. Until consent is provided, the child may access the Services only through a limited, time-restricted account.
When the Services are used in a school setting, we rely on the school to obtain any required parental consent on behalf of Child Users.
We do not knowingly allow children under 13 to create an account without the appropriate consent.
Information collected from Child Users is used to operate and personalize the Services, communicate as needed, improve our offerings, and comply with legal obligations. We do not display targeted advertising, use Child Users' information for marketing, or disclose their personal information for advertising purposes. We also take steps to disable third-party ad networks on child-directed pages.
8. LINKS TO THIRD PARTIES
The Services may contain links to third-party websites, services, or applications that we do not operate or control. This Privacy Policy does not apply to their practices. Linking to a third party does not imply endorsement or affiliation.
Third-party sites may collect personal information, place cookies, or use their own tracking technologies. Their use and disclosure of your information are governed by their own privacy policies, not ours. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party service before providing personal information.
9. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or in the law. When we do, we will post the updated policy on our Site and indicate the date it was last revised. We encourage you to review it periodically.
If we make material changes, we may provide additional notice—such as a homepage announcement or an email, if we have your contact information. Your continued use of the Services after any revisions become effective signifies your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy, as permitted by law.
